Born and raised in Baltimore, MD, Alan received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland in College Park in 2005 and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland in Baltimore in 2008.

His clinical emphasis includes the evaluation and treatment of orthopedic injuries, cardiovascular rehabilitation, neuromuscular re-education, and the promotion of overall health and wellness. Additionally, Alan has experience treating professional athletes from the MLB, NFL and NHL organizations.

He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Orthopedic Section of the APTA. He’s also currently affiliated with NYU-Hospital for Joint Diseases with an emphasis on acute geriatric rehabilitation.

Alan’s personal interests include obstacle course races such as Spartan Races and the Tough Mudder, as well as Mixed Martial Arts training. Recreational activities include ice hockey, softball, dodgeball and kickball.
